Roll A Story
A downloadable game
This is an overly complex (solo/group) dice game about telling stories.
This explains in steps how this works:
1- Count the letters in your initial statement on what story you want to tell.
2- Roll that amount of d6
3- Make groups of dice randomly and add up the values
4- check those values in the table
5- write a list of words that start with the letters in the table or resolve prompts
6- add connectors and articles and
THERE YOU HAVE YOUR STORY IN A LOT OF COMPLEX STEPS
You can use it on its own or you can add it to your campaigns time-off to create random stories.
It's based on the Quixotic SRD by WuDeRPG and it's a submission to the Quixotic Jam.
I've decided some time ago to charge for everything I design since a lot of work and skills goes into it when you're an indie designer who does everything on their own, but small games have a lot of Community Copies so you can grab if you feel like it without paying.

I love how this game so wonderfully complicated and yet playable! I love the dice arrangement method and the corresponding table - and I love that the result is coded back into letters to form a new sentence!
Thanks! It was such a ride to do it! I felt it was funny enough to give it a try!
It seems prompts 32 and 35 are missing!
thanks! checking it out rn
I've changed the font size and might've forgot to make the text box bigger!
done!
