Santigo Bay
A downloadable game
Santigo Bay is a solo journaling game about a personal grieving situation, just a small glimpse of what a person can go through. It's a story that the player builds by answering questions, using prompts, making stories choosing some words from a list, and narrating along the way.
I want to say, as a person who has gone through a lot of longing and grief, that this is just a reductionism, not everyone deals with these situations the same way and my game does not pretend to be professional help.
The game has an 80s vibe, and Misha Panarin curated the "mixtape" for the game (https://tinyurl.com/mdph7fuz).
I made this game for the MS Paint TTRPG Jam, organized by Ian Yusem and I'm soooo bad at design and drawing that I can't even begin to say how much work this was. Also, writing while doing layout is hard when you can't edit your text.
The name of the game is taken from a Masayoshi Takanaka song (included in the mixtape). One of my favorite songs ever.
EDIT: I'm gonna put a price on this, and add a bunch of Community Recollections I feel that my work should be paid but I also feel that this might come on handy for a lot of people in need. So feel free to grasp one Community Recollection if you need it.

Loved it! So many feelings. I really enjoyed it, going through it several times, in writing, but also twice just mentally, which led to a shorter play time, but it still felt like a helpful way to deal with feelings of grief and sadness.
Oh, this is so sweet. I'm glad you enjoy it, and that it helped you somehow.
Darling little game. The music really does give it the extra oomph. Can't wait to play more from this creator!
